an Op-Ed piece in the NYTimes today, Libyan author Hisham Matar recounts how his father and uncles "disappeared" for decades in Gadaffi's prisons for their political activity and beliefs. He also makes a plea on behalf of the rebels for medical and military assistance from the international community.
